Mere words are so inadequate to describe my worship experience at FJMBC. It is an experience that one would have to be in attendance to fully understand the awe-inspiring opportunity to worship. I have experienced an oneness in spirit with God, my father. It is yet another opportunity to assemble with others who believe as I do, with God in the midst.

As a transplant to the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia, I've had the pleasure of worshipping in many churches throughout our city. My experiences have been pleasant and inviting in all of them because I'm a firm believer that if you walk into the doors of any church expecting to hear from God then you will hear from Him. However, what makes my worship experience at First Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church different from any other church is the family-like atmosphere.

I visited FJMBC for more than a year before I became a member, and during that time one of the things that kept me coming back was that the Worship was for real! The spirit moves freely throughout every service. Worship leaders were obedient to the Spirit and followed the direction in which it was moving: whether morning worship turned into a prayer service or a sprit filled praise party, it is always an awesome and moving experience!

While worshipping at FJMBC, I feel connected to the Holy Trinity, and the music ministry enhances the total worship experience. I never leave FJMBC the way I entered. I make a conscious choice to render unto God what He desires, and that is my worship. FJMBC is an awesome place to glorify God.
